Your support helps us strengthen the leadership, stability, and impact of Black Executive Directors—ensuring the organizations they lead continue to thrive and uplift the communities they serve.
WHERE YOUR GIFT GOES:
PROGRAMMING & EVENTS
Supporting content and logistics for networking events, workshops, and our annual summit, including securing speakers, equipment, and venue fees.
GENERAL OPERATIONS
Supporting day-to-day staff management, membership services, and marketing and communications.
BEDAD FELLOWSHIP
Supporting selected fellows with professional development and coaching services, wellness stipends, meeting space, and operating funds.
All gifts are made possible through our fiscal sponsor United Way for Southeastern Michigan and tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
OUR CHALLENGE: UNDER RESOURCED
Black nonprofits tend to be disproportionately underfunded. As strong and as appreciated as our volunteer and donor communities are, there is a collective need for funding sources in covering the cost of the staff development and facilities, ultimately making the programs impossible to carry out.
