Each fall, the BEDAD Executive Leadership Summit offers nonprofit executives and emerging leaders opportunities for rejuvenation, education, and connection. By providing professional development, personal growth resources, and support, the summit equips participants to plan, build, and implement strategies that provide generational advancements for our youth and our communities.
This event is open to the public and features learning sessions, wellness activities, and various networking opportunities.

MEMBERSHIP ALLIANCE MEETINGS
These bi-monthly gatherings are geared to cultivate community. It is an intentional effort to increase connections amongst members and key partners in the non-profit ecosystem. The meeting locations travel across the membership, showcasing the wonderful array of spaces in Detroit’s OST network. NON-PROFIT LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT SERIES
These bi-monthly sessions are designed to cultivate the executive excellence of Detroit’s non-profit leader. BEDAD has planted its flag in the capacity-building ecosystem by focusing on experiences that contribute to the professional and personal competence of Detroit’s leadership ecosystem. HOLIDAY GATHERING
BEDAD‘s end-of-year celebration is an opportunity for members to reflect, rejuvenate, and reset in advance of another year of impact. Black nonprofits tend to be disproportionately underfunded. As strong and as appreciated as our volunteer and donor communities are, there is a collective need for funding sources in covering the cost of the staff development and facilities, ultimately making the programs impossible to carry out.
