As a key resource and advocate for Black nonprofit executives in Detroit, we are committed to furthering the interests of Black Executives of youth-serving non-profits to ensure access, responsiveness, and reach of critical resources so the ecosystem thrives in service of Detroit’s children, youth, and young adults.

It’s a fact: Black nonprofits are disproportionately underfunded. While we appreciate the strength and generosity of our volunteer and donor communities, the funding disparity highlights a collective need to address shortfalls that impact facilities, staff development, and the ability to effectively carry out much-needed programming.
