ACTION COMMITTEES

Even the best ideas and intentions are only the first step one toward change. Our Action Committees are focused on developing tools, tips, training, and actionable resources for our members in four areas: 

MEMBERSHIP ENGAGEMENT & WELLNESS


Provide an inviting, engaging experience for members and develop recruitment, onboarding, and engagement strategies for new members.

NONPROFIT ECOSYSTEM HEALTH & SUSTAINABILITY


Develop strategies to increase recruitment, development, and retention of talent at all levels of Detroit’s Black nonprofit ecosystem.

POWER BUILDING & ADVOCACY


Develop strategies and processes to grow political and community power in service of member organizations and the populations they serve.

SPEAKERS BUREAU


Cultivate stronger public speaking skills and comfort in presenting before an audience.

BEDAD FELLOWSHIP COHORT

Our Fellowship Cohort enables Black Executives to elevate their leadership impact through a generous package that includes:

  • General operating dollars

  • Executive-level coaching

  • Professional development services

  • Meeting space

  • Wellness stipend

  • Additional professional support services
